Paymentus provides a third-party payment processing solution to companies, municipalities, and utility providers to make it easier for customers to pay their bills. However, customers often ran into issues or problems trying to make payments and needed information to assist them with their questions. We devised a chatbot to answer their queries so they didn’t have to make phone calls or email questions and wait for solutions. I worked with the development team to improve the existing chatbot by devising the possible test cases and creating and/or improving existing content. We improved engagement by 112% while maintaining an accuracy rate of over 90%.
